It may be time for all us AEP customers to get our own wind turbines and get off the 'grid' for good. Wonder if there are any tax incentives or breaks to do this??? [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]

Lucky you. My bill has been almost twice what it normally is. At least last month it came down to $211. [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wall.gif[/img]

Well It does say that thay got 2 3% raises in the last 6 months that they get to keep Sure the big one goes away and we MAY all think we have won But we will all still be paying more than 6% more than we did last year and in 2 or 3 years AEP will do it again.

That being said it will be nice to get more normal Electric bills after another month or 2

I'll have to see it to believe it after reading the automated response I received from the SCC when I signed up for that 'online petition' thingy.

I can deal with a 5%-6% increase every so often, but the 40%-50% was a bit excessive, in my opinion. I think AEP just wanted to 'cash in' just like the oil companies have been doing during all this upheaval over the past several years.
